cadaver: how to automate from command line

Hi,

Is it possible to "automate" cadaver from the command-line and/or from a custom script?

It seems that usage is limited to specifying few options:
Usage: cadaver [OPTIONS] http://hostname[:port]/path

How can I avoid entering the "dav:!>" shell but perform operations such as an mput?

I need to create a script or GUI which allows users to quickly upload mutltiple files in "just a few clicks". I tried the DAVExplorer applet, which would actually be fine for my purpose, if it weren't for the fact that I can't "write" more than one file at a time (or at least I don't know how).
