Hello fellow cadaver list serve members,

I am trying to read a WebDav directory using cadaver V 0.22.3 on linux
enterprise redhat 5 and had two questions.

1. I'm trying to use a .netrc file to send authentication for an https site,
example:

> cadaver https:/foo.foo.com/foo/

and .netrc is:

machine https:/foo.foo.com/foo/

login usernamefoo

password passwordfoo

However, I am getting the error of no authentication. Note, that it works
fine when I enter the username and password manually.

Does the ~/.netrc file need special permissions? Any other ideas?

The second question is whether there is a way with cadaver to download an
entire directory structure and its contents recursively via the command
line?

Thank you so much for your help!

spiroc
