any outstanding changes for 0.29.x?

We have accidentally found that this patch haven't backported to the
0.29.x branch. It's announced in the NEWS but the change isn't
propagated! So the 0.29.1 release is inconsistent.

Is it possible to release neon 0.29.2 with this change actually backported?
